Dr Adam Stewart

Chiropractor

 

Dr. Adam (Chiropractor) is a chiropractor with 23 years experience in practice. He is passionate about preventative healthcare, with chiropractic, nutrition, exercise and meditation forming the basis of his health philosophy.

Adam worked as a children’s’ only Chiropractor for over ten years, with 50% of new patients as babies, and 50% of new patients aged 1-16. In 2014, Adam opened OptiStart Chiropractic Berwick with the aim of providing babies and children with a healthier start to life. 

In 2009 Adam completed the 3 year postgraduate Chiropractic paediatric fellowship program and has researched Chiropractic solutions for children, publishing articles on syncope, breastfeeding, and craniosynostosis.

In his spare time, Adam is involved in the education of chiropractors through Vital Child Chiropractic Education, which holds informational seminars across Australia.

Adam is currently accepting adult new patients, using the Gonstead System of Chiropractic exclusively. 

Adam is a chiropractor with a passion for empowering you to be able to live a “life without fear” by facilitating you to feel confident and in control of your health, and the health of your children.

Dr Vicky Zarzu

Chiropractor

 

Dr Vicky (Chiropractor) has spent the past 18 years learning and applying principals of holistic healthcare to help her family and practice members reach their health goals.

After years of dealing with headache and migraine attacks personally and in practice, she has developed a passion for understanding and managing these debilitating conditions by using the specific art of chiropractic, exercise, dry needling, nutrition and has also attended the Watson Headache® Institute, Level 1, Foundation Headache Course titled “The Role of C1-C3 Cervical Afferents in Primary Headache.

As a chiropractor Vicky has had the opportunity to volunteer with organisations such as Hands on Health and Melbourne Street Chiros to offer chiropractic care to the elderly, homeless and volunteer fire fighters during the 2019 – 2020 fires.

She has experience working as an associate, a locum for several other chiropractors, and practice owner. Vicky will be available for appointments on Thursday afternoons.

While not in practice, you will find her spending time with her husband, 3 teenage children and 6-month-old baby, at Pilates, or volunteering as an ambassador for Migraine Australia. Her other passion is reading, and she does that as often as her other commitments allow. Ask her about the book she is reading the next time you see her.

Sarah Millard

REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST

Sarah has developed a gentle approach to remedial release through her many years’ experience working with chronic pain/anxiety/autoimmune conditions, oncology, and pregnancy massage.

Her sessions can use a combination of Remedial, Therapeutic Swedish massage, Shiatsu acupressure/meridian massage, neurovascular release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, relaxation techniques, stretching and corrective exercise advice for injury prevention. 

Graduating from RMIT with Diploma of Remedial Massage, and shiatsu and eastern holistic and therapeutic bodywork with Melbourne College of Natural Medicine.

Sarah has participated in multiple sports outreaches and further training with Victorian University, MSAC, NICA, Anatomy Trains.

Sarah is an active member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association and Complimentary Medicine Practitioner Associations Council and has enjoyed working as a licensed massage therapist for the past 20years+ in multidisciplinary health and wellness centres across Victoria. 

She approaches each client with a holistic, mind-body-spirit perspective and accommodates to the individual needs of each client in providing a range of modalities and massage techniques.

Sarah is very passionate about holistic healthcare, relaxation therapy, natural pain relief, injury prevention and enjoys helping and seeing others optimise their health and reach well-being goals.

Sarah joined OptiStart Chiropractic Berwick in 2022.

Daniel

Massage Therapist

Daniel is a massage therapist here to help you be your best, joining OptiStart Chiropractic Berwick in September 2025. 

Daniel is a recent graduate of Remedial Massage who made the leap from the IT industry to follow his long-standing passion for human anatomy and movement. With over 150 hours of hands-on experience in a student clinic, Daniel brings a strong foundation of practical skills and knowledge to every treatment.
 
He has a particular focus on soft tissue and deep tissue massage techniques, aiming to reduce pain, tension, and stiffness, and help clients move more freely and comfortably. Whether you’re dealing with chronic discomfort, muscle tightness, or recovering from injury, Daniel’s treatments are tailored to support your body’s natural healing and restore functional movement.
His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, and he brings a calm, thoughtful presence to every session.
 
Outside the clinic, Daniel enjoys staying active through gym sessions and long walks with his dogs. His ongoing interest in health, fitness, and how the body works continues to shape the way he supports and cares for his clients.

Madison

Chiropractic Assistant (C.A.)

Madison joined OptiStart Chiropractic Berwick in March 2023.

Madison was a Registered Nurse for 8 years, and recently stepped out of the hospital scene to work in chiropractic care and disability support work.

She is a mum to a little boy River. She is a lover of all things natural and low-tox. Her personal journey towards a healthier lifestyle really kicked off during her postpartum period- wanting the best for her and her family. It has also inspired her to help and educate others to improve their well-being and lead healthier lifestyles.

Madison enjoys spending quality time in nature with friends and family, whether that be walking the dogs, hiking, camping or having a picnic!

Lachlan

Chiropractic Assistant (C.A.)

Lachlan joined OptiStart Chiropractic in January 2023.

Lachlan is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) at RMIT. With a passion for helping people and wanting the best for others, Lachlan joins the OptiStart Chiropractic team with an eagerness to learn and grow in the profession to better help those within the community reach their health goals, all whilst bolstering his own knowledge and understanding to go alongside his studies.

Lachlan joined OptiStart Chiropractic Berwick in 2022. 

Lachlan loves to get outdoors, with previous interest in sporting endeavours including football and basketball. He now loves to explore out on adventures with walks in nature, running, and a little bit of bike riding.
